Salon Lola Policies

  • We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.

    This time allows our stylists to offer your spot to another client and maintain a smooth schedule.

    Here’s how it works:

    • 48+ hours before your appointment: No fee. Your deposit is applied to your service.

    • Within 48 hours: Deposit is forfeited.

    • Within 24 hours: You may be charged 50% of your scheduled service total.

    • No-show: You will be charged 100% of your scheduled service total.

    If an emergency or unforeseen event occurs, please reach out as soon as possible. We understand life happens and will always do our best to be flexible.

    Multiple no-shows or cancellations may result in loss of booking privileges. We always consider emergencies—just keep us in the loop.

  • We know things come up! As a one-time courtesy, clients with no prior late cancellations or no-shows may have their deposit reapplied to a future appointment.
    After this courtesy, all cancellations will follow the standard policy.

  • Your happiness matters to us. If something doesn’t feel right, please let us know within 5 days of your appointment.


    If the issue is related to your original service result, we’ll make adjustments at no charge.


    If you’ve changed your mind or would like a different look from what was discussed, your stylist will review options and pricing with you.


    We do not offer refunds.

Our salon policies are here to keep things fair, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone — our clients, our stylists, and our schedule. We appreciate your understanding and support!

  • To reserve your appointment, a deposit is required at booking:

    • Returning clients: 10% deposit applied to your total service.

    • New clients: 20% deposit applied to your total service.

    • Clients with prior no-shows: 50% deposit required to rebook.

    Deposits are applied to your final total unless the appointment is canceled within the 48-hour window.

  • We accept all major forms of payment. Including tap-to-pay (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.). We do not accept checks.

    Gratitude Over Gratuity 💌 For years, Salon Lola has been a tip-free salon, and while that’s still our heart, we now offer Tippy at checkout for those who feel inclined to show extra appreciation.

    ✨ That said, tips are always optional—what means the most to us are:

    • Google & Yelp reviews

    • 💬 Referring your friends & family directly to us

    • 💖 Continuing to regularly support your stylist and this space we’ve built together

    You’ll see the option to tip on ur kiosk at checkout, and we’ll never pressure you either way. We’re just happy to have you in our chair.

  • We love our families, but for everyone’s safety and comfort, the salon isn’t the best place for unattended children or extra guests.

    New babies and nursing moms are always welcome. Babies in car seats or carriers are just fine during your appointment — we completely understand how important it is to find time for yourself while caring for a little one.
    We only ask that you’re mindful of hot tools and salon activity during your visit.

Salon Etiquette

⏰ Running Late?

We totally get it—life happens. If you’re running more than 10-15 minutes late and haven’t let your stylist know, we may need to reschedule your appointment to stay on track for the day. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you when we can! (Cancellation fee may apply)
Please text us at (937) 900-0759 as soon as you know you’ll be late. (And don’t worry—we’ll do the same if we're ever running behind.)

We strive to create a calm, inclusive, and professional environment for everyone. Please be mindful of language, volume, and respect for other guests during your visit.

Disrespectful or discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes any language or actions that are derogatory, offensive, racist, homophobic, or otherwise harmful to others.

We reserve the right to not continue or cancel any service that feels out of alignment with our values of kindness, respect, and care.

Meet Jess, Founder & Curl Enthusiast!

Hi, I’m Jess — founder of Salon Lola and a curly hair specialist with 16 years in the beauty industry. I’ve always had a passion for learning and growth, which is why you’ll often find me in classes across the country, soaking up new techniques to bring back to our team and clients.

In 2018, I opened Salon Lola with a big dream: to create more than just a salon. I wanted a space where everyone—clients and stylists—could feel seen, supported, and celebrated. We specialize in curly cuts, lived-in color, and extensions for all hair types, with a deep commitment to serving our multicultural community.

The name "Lola" is inspired by my daughters, Londyn and Layla, whose joy and light are woven into everything we do. Around here, kindness, respect, and creativity lead the way. Whether you’re in the chair or behind it, we want you to feel at home.
