  • Stylists

    New To The Industry?

    You will go through our 18 week assistant program to become a stylist at Salon Lola. See more information on assistants. >>

    Experienced Stylist?

    We salon a little differently and can’t wait to teach you how we do things! In addition to taking your usual clients, you will go through a twelve week training program. Some sessions will be hands on and some will be virtual. Every stylist at Salon Lola is required to learn curly hair.

  • Assistants

    Our paid assistant program is for recent school graduates or new stylists. You'll learn about color theory, curly hair, haircuts, and more. You'll also gain hands-on experience and business education. It's required for new stylists at Salon Lola and lasts for four months.

    Every week, you will get a detailed plan with tasks, education plans and homework. On Tuesdays, you'll receive hands-on training. From Wednesday to Friday, you'll assist and take care of your own clients. Assisting on Saturdays is required.

    *We do not take salon interns who are are in school (for additional hours)

  • Salon Education

    We are an education focused salon. We believe that you can always learn knowledge nuggets & you can never know enough. In addition to our assistant program, we host monthly open studios. These are technical and business trainings for our staff but we open our salon to all stylists of any level. Some trainings are free & some are ticketed. More info here.

    Our staff is required to complete a three month business training program upon starting. This educates stylists how to market your services & get the clients YOU want in your chair. When working for Salon Lola you will also have access to hundreds of digital education courses.
